Margo Singer has a B.Ed in Art and Textiles from Warwick University and an M.Ed from the University of Manchester. She went on to teach art and textiles and is the author of Textile Arts: Multicultural Traditions (with Mary Spyrou) and Textile Surface Decoration, both published by A.C. Black (now Bloomsbury). Margo ran the Sewing Bee at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House until 2020 and gives regular talks on the history of textiles and dress.
